Expecting parents Emma and James wanted a modern kitchen to contrast with their period house and saw ply as the obvious choice. They asked for a space which looked clean and modern but was also practical with their growing family in mind.

We achieved this with a re-imagined housekeepers cupboard with floor to ceiling shutter doors to hide away any essential clutter and the appliances behind.

Paring the crisp cabinetry with the softer more classic features helped to tie the kitchen and the house together.
